Company Presentation

Created in 1987, ARTTIC is a European provider of management services, especially in the area of large international collaborative R&D projects. ARTTIC has several offices based in France, Belgium, Germany, UK and Israel. ARTTIC is an SME with a total workforce of about 100 people.
ARTTIC provides specific and practical help with all aspects of international R&D projects. Services include helping clients to establish project feasibility, finding international partners, establishing consortia; managing proposal development activities, helping negotiate contracts, taking charge of all management aspects of live projects and helping to disseminate and exploit successfully project results.

ARTTIC has nearly a 30-year track record in the management of international R&D collaboration projects in various scientific and technical domains. ARTTIC is currently involved in the management of more than 70 EU FP7 and H2020 collaborative projects.

In Emerald, ARTTIC supports the project coordinator in the operational project management tasks as well as dissemination activities.

Dr. Stefanie Fülöp is a project manager for research projects funded by the European Commission. In this field she is specialized in contractual management, project controlling and reporting, finance controlling and reporting, communication and dissemination activities in FP7 and also H2020. Stefanie Fülöp studied Food-and Biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna, Austria, and the École National Superiéure Agronomique in Toulouse, France. Furthermore she has completed a MSc in Molecular Medicine at the Cranfield University in the UK. She performed her PhD in the Research Unit Gene Vectors at the Helmholtz Zentrum München / LMU Munich in the field of non-viral gene vector design.

Carlos Triay is Senior Consultant working with ARTTIC in Paris since June 1996. Carlos Triay holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Mechanical Engineering Degrees from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York (USA). He is experienced in coordinating large networks and projects of technical and scientific experts in the fields of health, IT, transportation, nano-technologies, high performance computing, e-learning, e-commerce and smart cards. At ARTTIC, Within the health field he has supported the set-up and follow-up of projects in the fields of anti-microbial resistance (SATURN, R-GNOSIS, CFMATTERS and EFFORT ), cardiovascular disease (FOCUS, SECURE (H2020)) and now mental health with EMERALD.

Before ARTTIC and in France he worked for Bureau Veritas in France from 1989 to 1996 on its Research and Development Centre, for the Industry International Division, and for its R.A.M.S. unit.  As a Research Engineer, he worked on National and International Projects concerning non-homogeneous materials and computer simulation and modelling. He also worked in the past for McNeil Company (1985, 1986), a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson, on the qualification and certification of pharmaceutical equipment and installations in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, and with Bermudez & Longo (1987), an engineering firm in Puerto Rico, where he managed projects aimed at the upgrading of waste water treatment plants.
